Important changes to bin collections

Due to the recent heavy snow and to ensure everyone's safety, all waste collections have been suspended today, Friday 10 March.

We have rearranged next week's schedule to cater for those affected by today's suspended collections.

Refuse bins due to be collected today will be collected on Monday 13 March.

Recycling bins due to be collected today will be collected on Tuesday 14 March.

Garden bins due to be collected today will next be collected on 24 March. 

In order to prioritise refuse and recycling collections that were not collected today, all garden waste collections scheduled for Monday 13 March and Tuesday 14 March have been suspended.

We would like to reassure customers who have a garden waste subscription their collections will continue as normal throughout the rest of the season.

To ensure people have their allocated number of garden waste collections, for those whose collections have not or will not take place, we have rescheduled collections at the end of the season.

To confirm - Friday 10 March garden waste collection will be rescheduled for Friday 8 December (but the next collection will be 24 March).

Monday 13 March garden waste collection will be rescheduled for Monday 11 December (but the next collection will be 27 March).

Tuesday 14 March garden waste collection will be rescheduled for Tuesday 12 December (but the next collection will be 28 March).

We are expecting all other garden waste collections should run as normal. Blaby District Council and the waste team would like to thank residents for their continued support and we apologise for the inconvenience.
