Strategic Growth Plan
The Strategic Growth Plan is the overarching plan that sets out the aspirations for delivering growth in Leicester and Leicestershire up to 2050. The Plan is non-statutory but will be used as a basis for preparing or reviewing future Local Plans.
It has been prepared by a partnership made up of the seven local Borough and District Councils, Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council, together with the then called Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership, to ensure we can achieve opportunities for growth while maintaining Leicester and Leicestershire as a sustainable, attractive and successful place to work.
The Leicester and Leicestershire Strategic Growth Plan was approved by Blaby District Council in November 2018. The plan and website, which has links to further strategic planning evidence, are both available below.
