Extra Care Independent Living
Extra Care housing supports older people to live independently in their own home. On-site care and support services for residents are available at each location.
Blaby District currently has two Extra Care Schemes: Birch Court and Oak Court. There is also a third scheme in Loughborough: Waterside Court.
Birch Court is in Glen Parva, Leicester and is managed by Hanover Extra Care.

Oak Court is in Blaby, Leicester and is managed by EMH Homes.
To register with Oak Court, you will need to contact Adult Social Services to arrange a care assessment. You must also apply for the Blaby District Council Housing Register. Please note that usual connection rules will not apply.
