Community Grants

The Community Grants Scheme is currently closed to applications.  The website will be updated for 2017/18 shortly.

About the Grants

The Community Grants Scheme helps not-for-profit organisations or groups to improve facilities or provide services for the benefit of the local community.

Please click on the link below for further information about the scheme and guidance notes to assist with completing an application.

 About the Grants

We can provide advice on which grant is most suitable for your group or organisation’s needs.

Please note that complying with periodic checks and visits, in addition to completing and returning a monitoring form at the end of the project is a condition of any grant awarded from us.

This includes providing copies of invoices showing the expenditure on the project, as well as any evidence of the intended outcomes being achieved

The Council may ask for the grant to be repaid if these conditions are not met.
