Understanding the rates of Covid-19 infection across the district is essential to act quickly and manage local outbreaks.
Copies of weekly intelligence summaries which provide information about Covid-19 cases across Leicestershire are published on Leicestershire County Council's website. These data sheets include Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 cases.
The government also publish data for the whole of the UK on its dashboard.
Covid-19 cases (number of people with a lab-confirmed positive test result) can be found on the government's map.
Other sources of data
The World Health Organisation produces a global situation report and dashboard with breakdowns by country which is updated daily.
